IN THE QUEST FOR ENHANCED PERFORMANCE
PHYSIOTHERAPY & PAIN MANAGEMENT
By performance we are not just confined to sports, its accomplishment of a task to the best of one’s capability, and we work towards enhancing your physical capability. Be it you do a desk job, physically demanding job like lifting and moving, a recreational athlete or fitness enthusiast, you surely want to be the best at what you do.
Physiotherapy can be more than just physiotherapy. It works and helps best when it is embedded in a structure and a system. To lead the way in physiotherapy care, our core approach focuses on WORKING ON SOURCE OF THE SYMPTOM and optimizing physical movement by promoting, restoring and maintaining the physical well-being.
Physiotherapy brings the best results if combined with an active approach. After mobilizing joints or the spine by manual therapy or loosening tender muscles by trigger point therapy, the muscles need to be trained to actively stabilize these joints. Vice versa, it is very difficult to train muscles when they are tense and painful, or the involved joints are too stiff. So a good physiotherapy treatment is a prerequisite to a proper training plan and to enhance performance of activities of daily living.

PAIN IS A FRIEND
POSTURE CORRECTION AND RETRAINING
At APTI, we believe that pain is a friend, any pain in your body tells you there is something wrong and one needs to address it before it shapes up to become an injury. Having a consistent pain and fatigue in neck and low back, reoccurrence and long standing aches even after taking treatments might warrant the presence of POSTURAL IMBALANCE.
We offer a specialized program and assessment for postural correction and retraining, like we always say and believe WORK ON SOURCE AND SYMPTOMS WILL VANISH
At APTI we integrate athletic therapy in your program of care.
Certified Athletic Therapists are best known for their quick-thinking on-field emergency care of professional and elite athletes. The first to respond when someone gets hurt, they are experts at injury assessment, prevention and rehabilitation. It’s that same mix of on-site care and active rehabilitation skills that makes Athletic Therapists so effective with cases pertaining to the musculoskeletal (muscles, bones, and joints) system, whether situations arise on the field or in the clinic.
Athletic therapists adhere to the Sports Medicine Model of care. They treat a wide range of patients, from kids with concussions to seniors recovering from hip replacement surgery, using various manual therapies, modalities, exercise prescription and even bracing and taping. The treatment varies but the objective doesn’t: an Athletic Therapist's goal is to help clients return to their usual activities, whether that means playing competitive sports or walking to the mailbox and back.
Our athletic therapist will work with you right from beginning to help you recover from injuries and then providing you with personalized training and work out protocols, to make sure your performance is better than what it was ever.
The pursuit of fitness and a pain and injury free life is an obsession…a sense of well-being. It requires determination and discipline to keep striving for goals that at times might seem too far away. And when you’re pushing yourself to the limit and beyond, injuries are an ever-present possibility. While physiotherapy and fitness industry have existed for years, what was found lacking was an in-depth understanding of the mechanism of these injuries and source driven approach rather than symptomatic treatment, to overcome them permanently.
